Bornon March 21, 1983 in Barvinckovo, Kharkiv region.

Graduated from National University of Pharmacy in 2005, having received a diploma with distinction in the field of “Pharmacy”, qualification – “pharmacist”.

In 2010 she had defended the dissertation “Scientific substantiation of approaches to pharmaceutical providing of cancer patients with gynecological profile under the medical insurance conditions” forobtaining a scientific degree of a candidate of pharmaceutical sciences in the National University of Pharmacy.

Scientific and pedagogical activity started as an assistant of the Organization and Economics of Pharmacy department at the National University of Pharmacy(2005).

In 2014, she was elected to the post of Associate Professor of the Organization and Economics of Pharmacy department at the National University of Pharmacy.

MarynaValerievna Podgaina is the author and co-author of more than 50 scientific, methodological and popular works. With her participation, a number of textbooks and manuals on the organization and economy of pharmacy have been published. She is the author of a number of methodological recommendations, including english-speaking ones (inparticular, for the implementation of diploma and master’s theses, conducting of the production practices, etc.). Co-author of 1 monograph, 2 scientific and methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and more than 20 professional articles inUkrainian and foreign scientific journals.

Also Podgaina M.V. held the position of secretary of the profile methodical commission on economics and management disciplines during 2017-2018.

Participated in the development of a draft order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on the issues of prescription regulation.
